Eventually, we bring our readers some collections of apps that offer HD wallpapers for smartphones and tablets. In addition to providing the options that come on some of the latest devices, we also bring you a free wallpaper creator that will make your Android look a little more personalized with live wallpapers.
Check out the free Android apps to download HD wallpapers:
Live wallpapers 4K and HD Backgrounds by Wave
In addition to being beautiful, all the animated backgrounds you’ll find at Live wallpapers 4K and HD Backgrounds by Wave are large enough to be sharp and detailed on screens with lots of pixels. If you own any latest smartphone with high-resolution screen, you can try it out freely. Of course, owners of lower resolution devices can also enjoy the collection of 3D wallpaper without any problems.
If you are not looking for themes, icon packs, launchers and other more laborious things, the moving wallpapers will help give a new “face” to your smartphone. You can opt for vivid graphics of amazing landscapes and urban scenery, as well as some more abstract figures. All the artworks seem to awaken your screen, making it visually entertaining.
HD Wallpapers for Android
If any app isn’t enough to quench your thirst for wallpapers, HD Wallpapers is perhaps the one with the largest image database: there are more than 500,000.
Like the others, the app divides all images into 41 different categories, ranging from cars to anime. The preview mode is very simple and straightforward: just browse through the images and, when you find your favorite, save it. There is also an option for slide-show mode, in which the images pass in sequence without you having to slide your finger over the screen.
The downside of the app is that there is no “grid” mode for viewing images, which can make your search for the perfect wallpaper a bit long.
Photowall Live Wallpaper
Our last recommendation is Photowall Live Wallpaper. Of the options we tested, this one is the most compatible and friendly to social networks, allowing the user to create animated wallpapers from images from their Facebook and Instagram accounts, in addition to accessing photos from local folders and also from Picasa.
