Realme promised to update its smartphones within the first half of 2019 and it looks like it’s trying to keep up with the tight schedule. As expected, the Realme 2 Pro will be the first handset to get the Pie update as it’s the company’s most expensive device.
A Geekbench scorecard lists the phone rocking a Snapdragon 660 chipset with 4GB of RAM and Android 9.0 Pie. We know it’s the Realme 2 Pro because their software build numbers start with RMX and the it’s the only Realme smartphone featuring that chipset.
Perhaps the update is closer than we anticipated – let’s hope the testing phase doesn’t get prolonged by unexpected bugs.
